Outdoor Under 11 Series:

​

The event runs throughout the summer for athletes in years 3-6 and is intended to provide an opportunity for our younger athletes to start competing.

​

Our summer series will be run at the same track that our training takes place, the Royal Harbour Academy. 

 

All athletes are welcome including those from other clubs.

​

At each competition athletes compete in the following events:

• Sprint race (50m for years 3 & 4; 75m for years 5 & 6)

• Longer run (400m for years 3 & 4; 600m for years 5 & 6)

• Long jump (20m run up area optional)

• Mega howler throw (10m run up area optional)

​

There are medals for athletes finishing in podium positions, both in each of the individual events across the series in the relevant age groups (years 3 & 4 and years 5 & 6) and for the overall first second and third places across the series
